Born in Ohio and raised in Michigan, Mr. Billmaier embarked on his academic journey at the University of Toledo, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, laying a strong foundation in business acumen. His passion for the law led him to complete the dual Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration program with a concentration in Labor and Employment Law at the University of Toledo.
During his time in law school, Mr. Billmaier was a Judicial Intern to Honorable Judge Stacy Cook in Common Pleas Court, where he gained invaluable insight into the inner workings of the judiciary. In addition, he competed on the Mock Trial Team, worked in the Prosecutors Office, and displayed his commitment to public service as part of the Public Service Externship program. In addition to his work in the courtroom, Mr. Billmaier also gained experience while in law school as an In-House Counsel Intern for a local Fortune 500 Company.
Upon graduation, Mr. Billmaier gained extensive experience working as In-House counsel for an Insurance Carrier and at then at a NLJ 500 defense firm. Currently, Mr. Billmaier is a member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association, and Broward County Bar Association, demonstrating his commitment to the professional excellence.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Billmaier enjoys fishing and lobstering in the Florida Keys. He’s also an avid Pickleball player and dedicated to maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercise. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time and travelling with his family and friends.
