For Physicians & Medical Providers

A Law Firm That Protects Your Patients - and Your Bills.

When you treat an injured patient under a letter of protection, you are trusting the attorney to protect your interest in the recovery. Shiner Law Group honors that trust - we safeguard your liens, fight to maximize the recovery that pays your bills, and keep your patient cared for every step of the way.

We Understand Your Concerns

Treating on a Lien Should Not Be a Gamble

Providers who treat injury patients have three real worries. Here is how we address each one.

"Will my bills get paid?"

We protect your letter of protection and lien throughout the case and work to maximize the recovery so your reasonable charges can be satisfied at resolution.

"Will my patient be cared for?"

Your patient is treated with respect and attention. We coordinate the legal claim around their treatment - never the other way around.

"Will I be kept in the loop?"

Our team stays in contact with your office on case status and timing, so you are never left guessing about where things stand.

How We Protect Providers

Your Lien Is Safe With Us

From the day a patient becomes our client, we treat your letter of protection as a priority - documented, tracked, and defended through resolution.

  • Letters of protection honored and tracked from intake to disbursement.
  • Maximized recovery - a trial-ready firm with $500M+ recovered, so there is more available to satisfy your bills.
  • Timely lien resolution and clear, itemized accounting at the close of every case.
  • Respect for your patient and your medical judgment, with care coordination that does not interfere with treatment.

Clear Lien Accounting

At resolution you receive a transparent breakdown of the settlement and how your protected balance was handled - no surprises, no guesswork.

A Direct Line to Our Team

Your office gets a point of contact for status, records requests, and lien questions - not a voicemail maze.

A Note From Our Founder

PIP Quick Answers

Florida PIP, in Plain Language

The Personal Injury Protection questions your auto-accident patients ask most - so your team can answer with confidence.

What is PIP?

Coverage on a Florida auto policy that helps pay medical expenses and lost wages after a crash, regardless of who was at fault.

Do I have PIP benefits?

If a patient carries auto insurance in Florida, they most likely have PIP coverage.

How much is available?

Florida requires a minimum of $10,000 in PIP benefits. A policy may provide more.

What does PIP cover?

Generally 80% of reasonable and necessary medical expenses and 60% of lost wages, up to the policy limit.

Do I need an attorney to use PIP?

No. Patients can use PIP whether or not they hire an attorney - but speaking with one early can protect their rights, especially for serious injuries.

The 14-day rule

To access PIP benefits, a patient generally must seek treatment within 14 days of the accident - an important reminder for your front desk.

Ongoing Treatment

Multiple visits, specialist care, therapy, or future procedures.

Financial Impact

Missed work, lost wages, mounting bills, or insurance issues.
